Packing

I leave for Taiwan next Thursday, August 25th. It still seems far away. I'm like 72% packed. These past few weeks I've just been taking care of miscellaneous things. Like I got my "international driving permit," the other day at AAA. Which is basically just a piece of paper that says I am a licensed driver here in the U.S. I also bought some candy and gifts for my students. Yes, I'm still only bringing one suitcase and a backpack. I also made a small photo album. The hardest thing for me is deciding which books to bring.

How am I feeling about it? Well, I don't feel nervous, in fact, I'm very excited. I think I've been ready for a while.   It's just the waiting that is the hard part. Oh yeah, and the 19 hour flight...
